Netopier vodný - 6000. v poradí Netopiere sú nočné živočíchy a aj zoológovia, ktorí sa nimi zaoberajú, si ich len málokedy môžu pozrieť zblízka. Jednou z takýchto príležitostí je ich odchyt do sietí. Na tento účel sa používajú - podobne ako pri vtákoch – siete z veľmi jemných vlákien, ktoré sa inštalujú do vchodov štôlní, jaskýň, alebo k vodným plochám. Napriek dokonalému ultrazvuku sa im netopiere niekedy nestihnú vyhnúť a zamotajú sa. Jubilejného, šesťtisíceho netopiera odchytili tento týždeň pri monitoringu v Mestských lesoch v Bratislave. „Hneď na začiatok je treba uviesť, že všetky druhy netopierov sú zákonom chránené a ich odchyt je možný len na základe príslušných povolení. Cieľom odchytu je spoznať aké druhy v skúmanej oblasti žijú a zároveň zistiť, či sa tu i rozmnožujú. Zbierame tiež údaje o ich kondícii, občas realizujeme i odber parazitov, trusu či slín. Učiť sa dá i v noci, potme a uprostred lesov Malých Karpát. Presvedčilo sa o tom takmer 40 záujemcov o prírodu, ktorí sa zúčastnili v poradí už tretieho kurzu spoznávania netopierov, ktorý uplynulý víkend organizovala mimovládna organizácia SAOLA – ochrana prírody. „Netopiere sú nesmierne zaujímavé živočíchy, s veľkým množstvom unikátnych prispôsobení sa nočnému životu. Majú vynikajúcu priestorovú pamäť, bohatý sociálny život a samozrejme, asi najznámejšia je ich schopnosť orientovať sa pomocou ultrazvuku i v absolútnej tme. Trapping site We would like invite all people to the next event - Bat course in Malé Karpaty mountains. Please read following information. About bats This trapping site is ideal for bats dwelling underground spaces - like bats of the genus Rhinolophus (Horseshoe bats). These are typical small species of bats using their nose to the echolocation. The nose is formed to the horseshoe - so the name. There is also possible to trap other species - like Barbastele bat or Bechsteini bat.  Basic information This course will be realized 18.8.2018 at 19:45. However the trapping site is accessible only by the car. Please park your car here - N 48.35153° , E 017.21168°. We will be waiting for you at this place. Bats will be trapped at the site which is 10 minutes on the foot. Ako začal júl, naše výpravy za netopiermi sa zintenzívnili. Navštívili sme aj štôlňu pri obci Borinka, kde sme však chytili iba troch podkovárov malých. Nič to, pokračujeme v našom snažení ďalej. Noctule bat On Saturday we realized mist-netting of bats for people in Marianka village. Altogether 20 persons came to the old quarry where the nets were prepared for the action. Main aim was to catch the bat using of the net, however it was not easy mission. During the dusk we tried to see the biggest owl in Europe - the Eagle owl. We observed one owl some minutes later. It was sitting at the tree top at the edge of the quarry for some 10 minutes.    We saw also flying bats around our heads, however we didn't catch any of them. Part of the group went to the water area inside the quarry. On this place we observed many of bats drinking the water during the flight. In the light of the torch they flew very low over the water surface. Bigger part of people went to home after this observation. First bat course in Devin was very successful, many people obtained new information about the bat ecology and conservation. We continue in this trend, so the next event aimed on the bat trapping will be held in old quarry near Marianka village at 9th June. Meeting point is localized at the bus stop (bus number 37) Marianka, námestie. We are going to wait for people here at 20:40. The trapping site is localized some 10 minutes from the bus stop. Where bats will be trapped? Destination is the old quarry (bridlicolom) near the village, here is a water area where bats are going to drink. Bats are one of the groups, which is the subject of the conservation in NATURA 2000 areas. Important areas (NATURA 2000) for bats are distributed along the Morava river. So, one course aimed on the bat identification will be held in Hohenau an der March, Austria. We welcome all people interesting about bats.
